Diana Heitzman is an artist who is active in botanical painting. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, and studied at Temple University in Rome, Italy. Post-graduation, Diana studied graphic design and advertising at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, and worked as an art director. After 12 years, she left the hectic pace of advertising, became an art instructor, and discovered botanical art. She has shown her work in several galleries and has completed multiple commissions. Her husband's job brought them to Miami, where she discovered Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and learned of the Tropical Botanic Artists collective. Diana is a member of the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators and American Society of Botanical Artists.
Diana was an active member of the TBA from 2019 - 2020.
