Kristi Bettendorf
Kristi Bettendorf is currently one of the co-directors of the Tropical Botanic Artists. She graduated with a degree in art, but further education and a career in law side-tracked her artistic endeavors for quite a while. After 35 years as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami, she welcomed the opportunity to return to her love of painting, watercolor, and to explore other media, including colored pencil and graphite. Her introduction to botanical art in Donna Torres' classes at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden opened a world that she will enjoy exploring for years to come!
