Tropical Botanic Artists

Tropical Botanic Artists News 2015

It is with great sadness we report the passing of Dr. Marjorie Brown. Dr. Marge, as we lovingly called her, passed Dec. 2, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. Marge was one of the original members of the TBA. She was a champion for the native plants of Florida and her work highlighted the diverse plants of our area. She was a physician, a loving mother and friend, and a wonderful artist. She is a huge loss to our world but her inspiration will be felt for all future generations.

The Tropical Botanic Artists along with Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden are hosts for the 2015 American Society of Botanical Artists meeting here in Miami, Florida, Oct. 14 - 17, 2015.
